An update to the English & Welsh Marriage registrations has started - so far 1837-1860 have been uploaded. The rest will follow in the near future. The final column shows if a full certificate is available.

Of the 3401 marriages registered between 1837 and 1911 the database now contains full details of 1184 - almost 35%.

Each page is sequenced in alphabetical order of the forenam of the family member, regardless of the varied spellings of the surname. (Crab, Crabb, Crabbe & Craib are the main ones but other rarer ones do appear on occasions).

Where a "Ref" number appears by a name this is a crossreference to the main section of family tree data - the first three digits (where 101 or over) refer to the individual tree number, the other four digits identify the individual. Where the first three digits are less that 100 they all refer to tree 100.
